Making mobile phone images as close to the camera as possible has always been the goal of Xiaomi's flagship imaging.

IMX989, is a new generation of one-inch sensor jointly developed by us and Sony. It adopts an advanced process, a Quad-Bayer color array with faster readout speed, taking into account light quantity and resolution, and an Octa-PD phase detection focusing system that allows each sub-pixel to have focusing ability. Because the IMX989 adopts a 4:3 ratio that is more suitable for the needs of mobile images, its area is a bit larger than the 3:2 one-inch sensor on the camera, and the real number is 1.02 inches.
