The Web sites are run by Wintek Corp., a Web site provider in Lafayette. Company president Steve Belter said the sites were hacked into about 3 p.m., and he expected them fixed by 4:30 p.m.
The hacked page are titled "Hacked by Holocaust. The Turkish hacker." They show several men holding large-caliber automatic weapons and words in a foreign language.
Several Web sites that translate Turkish to English did not recognize the words when entered.
Ivy Tech spokesman Tom McCool said the school does not keep student information on its site. He said there is no reason to believe anyone could have gained access to sensitive information.
